At Market Square, St Peter Port
A celebration of the Ancient Norman language and Culture which is still spoken in Guernsey. Jersey and the mainland of French Normandy.
The highlight will be a performance of all the different languages and culture represented.
There will be dancing in Market Square, St Peter Port from 11am. to 12.30pm. and again from 2pm. to approx. 4.30pm. The dancers from Normandy will be in full traditional dress, as will be the Guernsey Dancers and Singers
A Jersey group will also be performing. and some Guernsey school children that are learning the language will also attend. It will be a spectacle of song music and dance and all free.
